Our Purpose

The Children's Ministry of the Global Heart is a Special Focus Organization in affiliation with the United Church of Religious Science, and the United Centers for Spiritual Living.

The children of our churches deserve the same spiritual guidance and support that we give to adults.

OUR CHILDREN NEED SPECIAL ATTENTION
We have neglected our kids in ways different than we may have imagined. This is a neglect of the soul, and of the heart, and of the spirit.
Look at the current situation in the United States:

-The extraordinarily high suicide rate for even very young children.

- Every sixty minutes a child is shot, or shoots a gun found in the home.
Gun violence accounts for over 4,000 deaths and over 12,000 injuries yearly among children.

- The over-reliance on psycho-tropic drugs to heal youth, with an estimated 8 million children now being given these medications.

-850,000 children are missing from their homes; the majority are runaways and every year thousands of them show up in morgues with no history.

-The violence of our society, the war, the incarceration of 2 million men and women, the erosion of simple human kindnesses.

WHAT WE DO
By praying with children, and providing them with spiritual counseling in an atmosphere of unconditional love, we offer a kind of heaven on earth for them. In this work we may be changing the course of events from a violent and fear-based society to a place, grounded in love, where all people are respected and children recognized as fully-orbed, spiritually whole, and worthy of the best possible arena for growth and spiritual development.
